In Kennewick, Washington very near the banks of the Columbia River I came across what seemed to be an old town site. Noting of it remained other than some old concrete foundations and what was left of a few old streets. This strip of blacktop was so long and straight that on Google Maps it looked like a landing strip for small planes.
